Short Term Rental regulations
In late 2023, the Board of County Commissioners approved and established the short-term rental (STR) pilot program. Prior to that time, the unincorporated areas of Clackamas County had no STR regulations.
The Board has extended the program until June 30, 2026 to solicit thorough public input on experiences with the program from STR operators, neighbors, and the general community. Public input was collected through a community-wide survey, along with planned town halls. The first took place on Feb. 18, 2026. This meeting is the second.
Commissioners wish to hear from as many residents as possible prior to making further decisions through the public events/feedback. Read full information on the STR program.
