Clackamas County Elections Mails Ballots to More Than 127,000 Voters in Seven Jurisdictions

Twenty-two official ballot drop sites are open for the November 4, 2025 Special Election.

Oregon City, OR – Starting today, Wednesday, Oct. 15, Clackamas County Elections begins to mail ballots to the more than 127,000 voters in seven jurisdictions having a special election.

Clackamas County Elections transports ballots to the USPSThis is not a county-wide election. Where you live determines what is on your ballot.  If you are a registered voter in the cities of Gladstone, Happy Valley, or Portland; the Sandy Fire District; or the Lake Oswego, Oregon Trail or West Linn – Wilsonville school districts you should expect a ballot in the mail.

Voters should look for their ballot to arrive in a brightly colored 6-by-9-inch ballot packet with the “Official Election Mail” logo on the envelope.

Sign up for Track Your Ballot!

Track Your Ballot enables voters to receive real‑time alerts via text, phone, or email about the status of their ballot — from mailed, to received, to accepted for counting. This free service ensures transparency and confidence in every election.

If you forget to sign your ballot envelope, or your signature does not match, we will notify you through the system, in addition to the required mailed letter. With Track Your Ballot you can take action that much sooner to ensure your vote can be counted. Your vote remains confidential.  Sign up online at clackamas.us/elections/track-your-ballot.

Return your ballot by mail or to an Official Ballot Drop Site.

Once voted, ballots can be mailed back with a valid postmark or returned to an official ballot drop site by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2025. No postage is needed. We recommend mailing your ballot back no later than Friday, Oct. 31 to ensure it arrives on time. Return your ballot to an official ballot drop site after that date.

Clackamas County Elections has 22 official ballot drop sites open in the seven jurisdictions having an election. Those official ballot drop sites marked with an asterisk have drive-up ballot drop access.
