Clackamas County Elections Opens Vote Center Inside the Happy Valley Library for May 19, 2026 Primary Election

Happy Valley Vote Center is open today, May 4 through Election Day, May 19.

Clackamas County Clerk and Elections Staff at the Happy Valley Vote CenterHappy Valley, OR – Clackamas County Elections will open the pop-up vote center inside the Happy Valley Library starting Monday, May 4 for voters needing assistance for the May 19, 2026 Primary Election. The Happy Valley Vote Center provides a closer choice for voters in Happy Valley, Sandy, Damascus and other north-east communities. Voters can choose the location, Clackamas County Elections Office in Oregon City or the Happy Valley Vote Center, that works best for them.

Each voter service location is staffed by sworn election officials. At the vote center citizens can,

  • replace a lost or damaged ballot,
  • update voter registration information,
  • get voting assistance if they have a disability,
  • get voting assistance in a preferred language,
  • return their voted ballot,
  • or vote in person.

“Clackamas County Elections increases access to voting with resources like the Happy Valley Vote Center,” Clerk Catherine McMullen shared, “making it possible for every eligible citizen to be able to vote hassle-free.”

Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, May 16, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Election Day, Tuesday, May 19, 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

This is a county-wide election. Where you live and what party you are affiliated with determines what contests are on your ballot. Your ballot will have a new design. Clackamas County Elections upgraded the ballot tabulation system to improve voter experience and increase ballot processing efficiency. How you mark your ballot will not change. You can view a sample ballot on the Clackamas County Elections website with the new design. If you have not received your ballot by May 7 please contact Clackamas County Elections. 

Ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 19, 2026, either mailed with a valid postmark or by delivery to an official ballot drop site. Voter service locations in Oregon City and Happy Valley will be open on Election Day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for assistance. 

Sign up for Track Your Ballot!

Clackamas County Elections mailed ballots April 29. Voters can sign up for Track Your Ballot to know when their ballot is mailed, and once returned when it was received and accepted for counting. Voters can sign up at clackamas.us/elections/track-your-ballot. Voters should reach out and contact the elections office if they have not received their ballot by May 7.

Already Registered Voters Can Update Their Voter Registration Information Until 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 19, 2026

Voters who have moved, need to update their residence or mailing address, need an absentee ballot, need to update their signature on file, or have changed their name are permitted to update their voter registration information until 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 19. Voters that are active or inactive can take steps to update their voter registration record and receive a ballot for the May 19, 2026 Primary Election.

Return Your Ballot by Mail or to an Official Ballot Drop Site

Once voted, ballots can be mailed back with a valid postmark or returned to an official ballot drop site by 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 19, 2026. No postage is needed. We recommend mailing your ballot back no later than Tuesday, May 12 to ensure it arrives on time. Return your ballot to an official ballot drop site after that date.

Clackamas County Elections has 26 official ballot drop sites open until 8 p.m. Election Day, May 19, 2026. They are listed in the County Voters’ Pamphlet and on the county elections website: clackamas.us/elections/official-ballot-drop-sites.
