Clerk McMullen Certifies May 19, 2026 Primary Election

Oregon City, OR – On Wednesday, June 10, Clerk Catherine McMullen certified the May 19, 2026 Primary Election to the Oregon Secretary of State. Final official election results can be accessed online at clackamas.us/elections.

Final voter turnout reached 44.87% with 142,908 ballots cast in the May 19, 2026 Primary Election. Clackamas County voters turned out in record numbers, ending with a higher turnout than any other gubernatorial primary election since Oregonians voted to expand Vote-by-Mail to all elections in 1998. 

The Track Your Ballot service continues to be popular with nearly 3,000 additional voters signing up to receive ballot status alerts via text, phone, or email for each election. Clackamas County voters can sign up before the next election at clackamas.us/elections/track-your-ballot.

On June 11, pursuant to ORS 258.280(2)(a) the Secretary of State issued a directive requiring a full recount of votes cast for the office of the Judge of the Circuit Court, 5th District, Position 13. The automatic recount is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 15 at the Clackamas County Clerk and Elections office. Observation hours for the process are available on the May 19, 2026 Primary Election website.
