      1. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Portland for as-needed building plans review assistance. Estimated Agreement Value is $150,000 for 3 years. Funding is through permitting revenue. No County General Funds are involved.
      2. Approval of a Supplemental Project Authorization with the Oregon Department of Transportation for Canby Ferry ramp enhancements. Agreement Value is $925,000 for 5 years. Funding is through the Federal Ferry Boat Program and County Road Funds. No County General Funds are involved.
    3. Health, Housing & Human Services
      1. Approval of an Amendment to a Subrecipient Agreement with Legal Aid Services of Oregon for legal assistance to older adults and family caregivers.  Amendment Value is $107,179 for 1 year. Total Agreement Value is $361,017 for 3 years. Funding is through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.  No County General Funds are involved.

    Commissioner West moved to approve the Consent Agenda as read. Commissioner Helm seconded. Motion passed 5-0.

  3. COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR UPDATE

    Administrator Schmidt shared constituent praise of a County road crew’s work in the Welches area.

  4. COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION

Commissioner Schrader commented on the Board’s recent retreat on the Board’s strategic plan, as well as a homemade ravioli dinner she plans to host.
Commissioner Savas remarked on the length of time of the Board’s recent retreat and indicated he expected a longer retreat.
Commissioner West praised the Board and staff for work towards accomplishing the Board’s strategic plan.
Commissioner Helm reported on a presentation she attended on the state of Oregon’s economy.
Chair Roberts promoted upcoming “Business in the County” events to engage with local businesses about the Board’s strategic plan. 
Chair Roberts also initiated a conversation on a possible Board response to constituent frustration with Portland General Electric (PGE) for beginning installation of new power transmission poles in the Stafford Road area, despite a pending hearing before the state Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA). The Board elected to draft two letters, one to PGE and one to LUBA, and to consider the drafts at the next Issues & Updates.
Chair Roberts adjourned the meeting at 11:02AM.
