Feyrer Park Community Improvements Project

Fall 2024

After Feyrer Park camping ends for the season on Sept. 16, 2024, construction of improvements requested by the community will begin, including:

  • Construct an amphitheater with seating for mini-concerts, presentations, theater and other community events.
  • Update and upgrade walking paths, parking stalls, crosswalk ramps and signs to provide easier access for people of all abilities.
  • Install new playground features to offer fun opportunities for children of all abilities to safely enjoy playground areas.
  • Improve roadways throughout the park, including paving, extended parking stalls, new curbs and accessible walkways to park amenities to improve traffic flow and safety.

These improvements are happening in response to what we heard from the community during recent outreach activities (PDF). We heard that top community priorities include:

  • Traffic and parking
  • Safety
  • Accessibility for all residents
