Resources and Information

The Voter Registration Deadline is October 14 for new Oregon voters. Already registered voters can update their voter registration until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters who have moved, need to update their residence or mailing address, need an absentee ballot, need to update their signature on file, or have changed their name are permitted to update their voter registration information until 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 4. Voters that are active or inactive can take steps to update their voter registration record and receive a ballot for the November 4, 2025 Special Election. Voter registration can be checked or updated at oregonvotes.gov.

Clackamas County Elections will mail ballots to voters starting October 15. If you do not receive your ballot by mail delivery on Wednesday, October 22 please contact Clackamas County Elections.

Ballots must be mailed with a valid postmark or returned to an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, November 4.

Candidates/Districts

August 15Last day for a city or district governing board to file a Request for Ballot Title with local election official.
September 4Last day for a special district or city to file Notice of Measure Election with Clackamas County Elections. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
September 8Last day for a city candidate to submit a candidate statement for inclusion in the county voters' pamphlet. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
September 8Last day to submit a measure argument for inclusion in the county voters' pamphlet. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
September 30Candidate Open House will be held at the Clackamas County Elections Office at 2:00 pm. Open to the public and to candidates.

October 20Happy Valley Vote Center opens in the Happy Valley Library.
October 22All eligible voters should have received their ballots. Contact Clackamas County Elections if you have not received your ballot.
November 1Clackamas County Elections Oregon City office and Happy Valley Vote Center is open Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
November 4The elections Oregon City office and Happy Valley Vote Center are open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Ballots must be mailed back with a valid postmark on or before Election Day or returned to an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
December 1County Clerk will certify election.
