Reproductive Health

Your primary care provider and most doctors are happy to sit down with you to discuss your reproductive and sexual health, family planning, birth control options, and pregnancy options as well as treatment.

Where to find reproductive health resources

Birth Control Methods

There are a variety of birth control options available. We recommend you take some time reading about the different methods. As you do, think about which methods will be the best fit for you.

Pregnancy tests

If you have a positive test, it is important to seek medical care even in the earliest stages of your pregnancy. It’s especially important to start taking a prenatal vitamin with folic acid as soon as you can.

See our list of clinics above to find services, including where to get a free or low-cost pregnancy test, or get follow-up care.

I'm pregnant. What additional resources are there?

Relationship Safety

Everyone deserves to feel safe. If you or someone you know experiences domestic abuse, sexual assault, verbal and emotional abuse, coercion or stalking, we encourage you to seek help.

Sexual Reproductive Health Coalition

End HivClackamas County’s Sexual Reproductive Health Coalition started in January 2019 as a community response to rising sexually transmitted infections. We focus on advocacy, access, shared resources, data and research .

The goals of the coalition are to:

  • Facilitate meaningful connections across organizations involved in SRH work
  • Increase access to reproductive health services

Public health staff and community partners meet in person twice per year and operate a strategic resource sharing Google Group for SRH members. Interested in joining the coalition? Send us an email at srhcoalition@clackamas.us.

Want to learn about the coalition’s past work? Watch a panel we hosted on gender-affirming care
