Was your home damaged by falling trees or broken pipes?

In an emergency, damaged areas of a home can be covered with a tarp or secured with plywood without a building permit, but further stabilization of the damage does require permits.

As a first step property owners should coordinate with their insurance company as soon as possible, then connect with the county to apply for any needed permits prior to construction.
