Extending Stormwater Infrastructure to Laurie Ave.
The project will install a new 12-inch diameter stormwater main on 436 feet of Laurie Avenue south of Courtney Ave and 6 catch basins to reduce the frequency of flooding. Additionally, 300 feet of stormwater main on Courtney Avenue west of Laurie Avenue will be replaced with 12-inch diameter stormwater pipe.
Why
The new stormwater main and catch basins are expected to reduce flooding and convey a 10-year storm event.
Schedule
- Design: June 2023 to April 2024
- Construction: Sept. 2024 to June 2025
Traffic impact
Expect delays on Laurie Ave and Courtney Ave during construction.
