On October 3, 2024, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office detectives learned Tristan Salvadore Thomas, age 43 of Clackamas, died from injuries sustained during an assault that occurred on September 21, 2024, at the Twin Creek Apartments on SE Sunnyside Rd. in Clackamas.
On September 21st, Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to find Thomas in the parking lot shortly before 11:30 p.m. suffering from multiple stab wounds. Deputies rushed to provide lifesaving medical aid until an ambulance arrived and transported him to a local hospital.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is once again participating in the #PinkPatchProject to promote breast cancer awareness.
The Sheriff's Office is also selling a brand-new, 2024-exclusive pink patch to raise funds for Willamette Falls Hospital's Carol Danielson Suzuki Cancer Center.
As part of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, throughout October you'll see our deputies wearing badges embroidered in pink stitching to promote breast cancer awareness.

This year, the Sheriff's Office is trying something new: offering an exclusive 2024 pink patch with a new design.
(NOTE: The exclusive 2024 patch is currently sold out. Online orders remain open for the rest of October, and will be fulfilled when the 2024 patches are restocked.)
You can also order a pink K9-themed patch and the "legacy" pink-patch design used in previous years.
This year, all patch-sale proceeds will once again go to the Providence Willamette Falls Medical Foundation Endowment Fund for the Carol Danielson Suzuki Cancer Center, located right here in Clackamas County.

Patient navigators guide cancer patients through the treatment process -- making appointments, ensuring they get to treatments, helping them cope with sudden lifestyle changes, and helping them get back to their normal lives after treatment.
