On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office led a multi-agency operation targeting organized retail theft. The eight-hour shoplifting detail resulted in nearly two dozen custodies and the recovery of stolen vehicles and a stolen firearm, as well as clearing multiple outstanding arrest warrants.

UPDATE (Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022) – Double-homicide suspect Kaythan Tenry located after Nov. 14 officer-involved shooting in Washington State

Kaythan "Mar Mar" Tenry -- one of two suspects in the Oct. 12 murders of Jamahl Nash and Stanafurd Blacknall -- is currently hospitalized following a Nov. 14 officer-involved shooting in Washington State.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

At approximately 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the report of a vehicle that had crashed into a restaurant located on the 10100 block of SE Sunnyside Road in unincorporated Clackamas County.

At approximately 10:02 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, deputies responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a collision involving a motorcycle and a delivery van in the 13500 block of SW Wilsonville Road in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Callers reported that the motorcyclist was pinned under the van, was not breathing, and was believed deceased.
