UPDATE (May 9, 2024): Detectives arrest second suspect in April 29 shooting

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a second person related to the April 29th shooting of Nathan Dean Anderson.

During the investigation, detectives determined that Dominique Marie Britt, 26 of Milwaukie, was involved in the homicide. Detectives believe Britt knew both the victim and the other suspect, Cody James Denewith. Britt was arrested Wednesday morning and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on charges of Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

On Monday, April 29, 2024, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team members with assistance from the Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team and Crisis Negotiation Unit responded to a report of a barricaded subject holding his family hostage at a residence in the 9600 block of SE Westview Court in Happy Valley.  

NEWS RELEASE: Sheriff's Office responds to report of a gun at Estacada High School

Thursday afternoon, April 25, 2024, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to the Estacada School District received a report that a group of individuals had come onto the Estacada High School campus and interacted with students. One of these individuals reportedly made mention of possessing a firearm.

Sheriff’s Office requests independent investigation after review of use of force incident at Jail; formal charges filed

 

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Jeanamarie Fisher was arraigned in Clackamas County Circuit on charges of Official Misconduct and Harassment. The charges stem from a standard review following a use of force by Fisher on an adult in custody at Clackamas County Jail on July 27, 2023.

UPDATE (May 16, 2024): Sheriff’s Office serves arrest warrant in March 21 homicide

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Bobby Lee Grady Alsup III, 31 of Portland, in connection to the homicide of 31-year-old Kaley Ann Snow. Alsup has been in custody in the Washington County Jail since March 23, 2024 on unrelated charges.

Kaley Ann Snow was found deceased following a fire on March 21, 2024 at her home on SE Flavel Drive in unincorporated Clackamas County. Snow and Alsup were known to each other.
