Gladstone Library

The master plan for the new Gladstone Library was developed through an extraordinary team effort between the Gladstone Community Library Task Force, county staff and consultants. The current Gladstone Library, across Dartmouth Street from the site of the new library, is small (only 5,100 square feet), with inadequate space and facilities to meet today’s community needs. The new, 6,000-square foot library will include flexible meeting space, designated areas for children and teens, an external book-drop, public computers, work space for the Library Foundation and the seed library, and so much more.

The new Gladstone Libaty is under construction 525 Portland Ave., at the corner of Portland Ave. and Dartmouth. The library is expected to be completed by summer 2024.
