The new, 15,300-square-foot library will include study rooms, a community meeting room, a history/conference room, children's and teen areas, space for Friends of the Oak Grove Library, a seed library, computer workstations and much more. Construction of the new Oak Lodge Library is one of the final steps to providing two new library buildings to serve all the residents of Oak Grove, Jennings Lodge and Gladstone.
The new Oak Lodge Library will be on property owned by North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District (NCPRD) at 3811 SE Concord Road, next to the historic Concord School building. The library building has been designed and construction is beginning in January 2024. NCPRD is planning to convert the adjacent school building into a community center and build a new park on the property.
