Holiday Programs

Toy and Joy / Compassion in Action 
Accepting applications until Dec. 7. This is a countywide program providing a "holiday clearinghouse" of services by matching donors with families in need in Clackamas County. Participating volunteer groups provide food baskets and/or toys. Income must meet food stamps guidelines. 

PLEASE NOTE: Clients register online themselves. Clients should contact their case manager, advocate or contact at their social service agency (Department of Human Service, Clackamas County Behavioral Health, Clackamas County Social Services, Head Start, Clackamas County Housing Authority, etc., also at participating senior centers, churches and food pantries) for the pin number to log in online. If the worker doesn’t know about the program they can email to sign up. Deliveries will be through Dec. 21. Colton Aid Network
Taking holiday applications until Dec. 13. Participants must live in the Colton School District. Sign up at Colton Fire and ColtonTel. Pick up/delivery on Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Colton Fire Hall.

Estacada/Eagle Creek 

Christmas for Kids
The Estacada Library, 825 NW Wade Street, will be accepting applications until Dec. 19. Application slips are available at the library. Provides gifts to families with children living in Estacada and Eagle Creek who are on Temporary Assistance to Needy Families or food stamps. Pick-up will be on Dec. 22 from noon to 7 p.m. at the Estacada High School. Parent or guardian must bring picture ID and must bring application slip.

Foothills Community Church Resource Center

The holiday food and gift program will be accepting applications from Nov. 1 through Dec. 1 during normal Resource Center hours: Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring Oregon license or picture ID and full dates of birth for all children and adults. (Applications received after Dec. 1 will be placed on a waiting list).

Free drop-in sit down hot dinner Dec. 16 and a sack lunch to-go on Dec. 23. Both are 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Hoodland Area 

Hoodland Fire
Taking applications through Dec. 5 for Community Holiday Baskets. Must live in Welches School District. Sign up at the Fire Station 69634 E Hwy 26, Welches. Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week. You may also sign up through the schools and other locations around the community. Pick up Dec. 21 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and pick up/delivery on Dec. 22 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mt. Hood Lion's Club. ID/address verification will be required at pick up. Delivery on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until finished.

Sandy Fire/Kiwanis Club
Holiday food box and gifts for families with children. Firewood may also be available. Taking applications until Dec. 19. Must live within the Sandy Fire District. Sign up at the Fire Administration office across from the Fire Station, 17459 Bruns Ave, Sandy, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Must bring ID to apply. Deliveries will be made on Dec. 22.

West Linn/Lake Oswego 

City of West Linn and Lake Oswego Taking sign-ups for Holiday Food Boxes until Dec. 6. Holiday Food Boxes are available for families who reside in West Linn or Lake Oswego. Applications available at the West Linn Food Pantry, located at 1683 Willamette Falls Drive in West Linn or on the website Pick up Dec. 20 from Noon to 6pm.

Information and Referral Networking Meetings

Information and Referral Networking meetings give people an opportunity to hear from experts speaking on different topics concerning the senior and disabled populations of Clackamas County. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of every other month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 150 Beavercreek Road in Oregon City in the Development Services Building, Room 119 and 120 (or 115).
