| High Level Review of documents | Mary reviewed the following documents to help provide a framework around the purpose of MHAC for new council members and the new BHD Director: - MHAC Bylaws - opportunities to review and amend
- Board appointed Council - application process and formal approval by BCC
- Language is in statute
- Requirement to have MH and Addictions Council by statute
- Connection to Clackamas County
- Minimum 9 members, maximum 21
- Three-year terms
- Open meetings - subject to OR Public Meeting Laws
- Meet on average 10x/year, minimum is 8x
- Exec committee, can have ad hoc committee
- Conflict of interest language may need updating
- MHAC Orientation
- Orientation presentation last provided in January
- Need to provide for new members
- Needs updating for changes in the system of care and local plan priorities

- Update on Crisis Stabilization Center - construction completed and ribbon-cutting early November, housing program
- Crisis Now model and mobile crisis connection to crisis stabilization center - have crisis team come and share updates
- Review actions related to school support, BIPOC and culturally specific service access (RFP 2024)

| Committee updates – All | Advocacy/Legislative Committee: - HB 2005-focus on civil commitment and Aid & Assist, will likely see fixes in the short session
- No big money asks - last session there were dollars to support A+A and Civil Commit but we do not know how much will come to us
Nominating Committee: - No updates and no current recruitment right now
Suicide Prevention Coalition Update: - App is live on Apple-Compass to Connections
- Galli Murray and Mary presented to the BCC on 9.23.25 in recognition of September being Suicide Awareness Month
Director Update: - Update on BH Local Plan - provided update on community engagement and planning process - draft Plan to OHA October 1 and final plan due December

- Adam on the ADCP harm reduction committee - Road Show Oct 6 for Tri-County
- Wellbriety through White Bison - explore the tools, groups and services - conference by Lloyd Center Oct 2-6, register today
- Sarah attended a conference in HI - amazing to see what is manifesting there, shared what we have in place for supporting parent voice and things they can do to support their community
- NAMI auction - if you are unable to go you can also bid in online auction - a lot up for auction this year
- OR walk this Saturday in Portland at 10AM - noon
- North Clack School District and Children's Center in Oregon City - effects of technology use - law around not having tech in schools
- Oct 14th - Screenagers - documentary with group discussion
- Rae on the Communications Committee for Homeless Solution for ClackCo - groundbreaking for Caring Place
- Gleaners - Idea to put crisis line info into boxes that go out to people with food insecurity - cold be a passion project for this group to add to things passed out in the community, also share food with an elderly or disabled person - possible partnership
- Teddy Bear Brigade - collect teddy bears for first responders - January push
