Clackamas County K-12 students invited to submit art for Safe Routes to School Poster Art Contest

The Clackamas County Safe Routes to School Program is pleased to announce the 6th annual Poster Art Contest. Students in schools in Clackamas County are invited to submit their original artwork based on one of the following themes:

  • Always be visible
  • Always wear a helmet
  • Always use crosswalks
  • Always be aware
  • Always travel safely

Artwork will be considered for prizes based on creativity, clear originality, overall design and focus on safety. Prizes (first $100, second: $50, third: $25) will be awarded to students in the following categories: grades K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12. Winning artwork may be used in traffic safety promotions.

Artwork must be submitted by April 1, 2024, in one of the following ways:  

  • Email a high resolution photograph or scanned JPEG or PNG image to srts@clackamas.us 
  • Mail or drop off a paper copy to Clackamas County Development Services Building, third floor Engineering Division (ATTN: Scott Hoelscher), 150 Beavercreek Rd, Oregon City, OR 97045
