On Friday, June 3rd, 2022, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit conducted a Traffic Safety Operation in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Click It or Ticket Traffic Safety Campaign.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of Clackamas Town Center located at 12000 SE 82nd Avenue, in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Shortly before noon on Friday, May 20, 2022, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies and Canby Fire personnel responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the 10000 block South New Era Road unincorporated Clackamas County, near Canby.

Deputies arrived to find two vehicles involved: a silver sedan and a black truck.

On Wednesday, May 18, 38-year-old Israel Fonseca pled guilty in the thefts of multiple vehicles and vehicle parts in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties between 2017 and 2019. He was sentenced to 10 years in custody at the Oregon Department of Corrections.

In November 2021, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office began field-testing body-worn cameras for its Patrol deputies and other sworn personnel. The program has now expanded to 100 camera systems in the field.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for tips as detectives investigate multiple burglaries in which thieves appear to be targeting homes left unattended during extended out-of-town trips.
