The Deputy involved is: Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Deputy David Fooladjoush, employed since December 2016.
Deputy Fooladjoush is on paid administrative leave as is standard in an officer involved shooting.

Shortly after 4:30pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to report of a shooting in the parking lot of Clackamas Square located at 11370 SE 82nd Avenue, in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Shortly after midnight on Friday, December 10, 2021, a Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant was on patrol driving southbound on Interstate 205 near Highway 224 when his patrol car was struck by another vehicle. The Sergeant was transported to a local hospital, treated, and released.
We are thankful that our Sergeant was not seriously injured.
