On Thursday, August 24, 2023, at approximately 8:11 p.m., Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a serious crash on S Redland Rd, near S Anderson Rd, outside of Oregon City. Upon arrival, deputies determined the vehicles involved were a Ford F-150 with a single occupant and a Toyota Corolla with two occupants.

Two adult females were inside the Corolla. The driver was deceased and the passenger was seriously injured. The passenger was transported to a local hospital.

On Friday, August 11, 2023, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the Happy Valley area. Deputies determined that a man driving a Toyota Camry was driving northbound on SE Foster Road near SE Hemrich Road when he hit a man walking in the roadway. The driver told deputies he pulled over, unsure of what he had hit, and called 9-1-1.

The victim has been identified as Braden Josiah Lungren, age 20, of Portland.
