Budget Presentations

Each year, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) sets a budget for Clackamas County and its seven service districts. The process starts in May, when budget committees meet to look over their proposed budgets. Before these meetings, the budget details are made available for the public to review and share their thoughts. After the meetings, the BCC holds a public hearing in June to decide whether to approve the budgets during their regular business meeting.

How to Participate

As always, public feedback and community participation are very important to establish budgets. Public comments on the overall county budget will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Each service district public hearing features a public comment period near the end. You will be prompted by the emcee to speak when it is your turn. Comments should be kept to under three minutes.

Public, In-Person Attendance

All budget meetings will be held in person in the Development Services Building’s Auditorium (Rm 115), 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City. All members of the public will need to sign in at the front desk of the first-floor lobby.

Watch

#Clacko TV will livestream the meetings on YouTube.

Zoom

Zoom will allow you to provide live comments over video or the phone. For all public testimony, please use the "Raise Hand" feature on Zoom and you will be called in the order received.

If you have any difficulty joining the meeting or participating via Zoom, please email clerktotheboard@clackamas.us.

Email

Submit comments to bcc@clackamas.us. Those submissions will not be read aloud during the public comment periods but will be sent to the relevant committee members and added to the record. Parties should include their name and area of residence.
