Fees/Costs
The county shall pay the account fee up to $1.50 per account per month for each active employee enrolled in the HRA/VEBA plan.
The eligible employee shall be responsible for the third party annualized investment fee.
AFSCME-CCOM
- Eligible employees active as of December 31st of each year shall receive an annual contribution of $100 paid into their HRA/VEBA account by the second payroll period in January of the following year.
- Eligible to all active employee group members.
AFSCME-DTD
- Eligible employees shall have all vacation hours over the annual cap paid to their HRA/VEBA account at retirement.
- Eligible employees who have used at least forty (40) hours of vacation in the prior twelve (12) months shall have all vacation time up to eighty (80) hours in excess of the annual cap paid into their HRA/VEBA account. The County will deposit such excess vacation leave into eligible employees’ HRA/VEBA accounts on the last pay date in May or sooner if administratively practicable.
- Eligible employees employed by the County as of December 31st of each year shall receive an annual contribution of $100 paid into their HRA/VEBA account by the second payroll period in January of the following year.
- Eligible to all active employee group members
AFSCME-WES
- Eligible employees shall have all vacation hours over the annual cap paid to their HRA/VEBA account at retirement.
- Eligible employees who have used at least forty (40) hours of vacation in the prior twelve (12) months shall have all vacation time up to eighty (80) hours in excess of the annual cap paid into their HRA/VEBA account. Nonrepresented
- Eligible employees who have used at least forty (40) hours of vacation in the prior twelve (12) months shall have all vacation time up to eighty (80) hours in excess of the annual cap paid into their HRA/VEBA account.
- Eligible employees as of December 31st of each year shall receive an annual contribution of $100 paid into their HRA/VEBA account by the second payroll period of the following January each year.
- Eligible to all active employee group members.
Peace Officers Association
- Eligible employees who have used at least forty (40) hours of vacation in the prior calendar year shall have all vacation time up to eighty (80) hours in excess of the annual cap paid into their HRA/VEBA account.
- Eligible employees who submit the Medical Insurance “Opt-Out” Waiver of Medical Coverage form certifying they have other coverage not obtained from the individual market or the Health Insurance Marketplace will receive cash back on a monthly basis as provided by the yearly Benefits Summary, paid to the employee’s HRA/VEBA.
- Eligible to all active employee group members.
Housing Authority (EA)
- Eligible employees shall have all vacation hours over the annual cap paid to their HRA/VEBA account at retirement.
- Eligible employees who have used at least forty (40) hours of vacation in the prior twelve (12) months shall have all vacation time up to eighty (80) hours in excess of the annual cap paid into their HRA/VEBA account.
- Eligible employees as of December 31st of each year shall receive an annual contribution of $100 paid into their HRA/VEBA account by the second payroll period of the following January each year.
