Courthouse Arts Committee members needed

Main Content

Clackamas County Commissioners seek two at-large community volunteers interested in serving on the Courthouse Arts Committee. The purpose of this Committee is to identify funding for and select the various pieces of artwork to be installed at the replacement county courthouse.

The term is limited and the length of service is yet to be determined. The Committee meets virtually through a zoom meeting every other week alternating between noon and 5 p.m.

We are looking for members who are residents of Clackamas County. Additionally, we are seeking those in the art community with experience that could include art therapy, specifically for children and/or expertise in large mediums, outdoor art and murals.

Experience and participation in an advisory committee is helpful as a base of knowledge for committee work, but not required.

Interested individuals need to complete an application form. Applications will then be reviewed and six applicants will be invited to interview with the staff liaison for potential approval by the sitting Courthouse Arts Committee.

The application deadline is Friday, April 14, 2023.
