OREGON CITY, Or. -- The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners will hear public testimony on Thursday, May 15 regarding a selection advisory committee’s recommendation on a proposal to redevelop the old county courthouse in Oregon City.

Level Development NW’s proposal was the only one received during an extensive Request for Expressions of Interest process. The proposal would replace the 87-year-old courthouse with a mixed-use commercial building, which includes approximately 80 residential units, won the committee’s approval.

The county expects the current courthouse on Main Street to be fully vacated by September 2025. The replacement county courthouse is set to open on the County’s Red Soils Campus on May 19.
